Separate on/off "Soft Limits"

The "Soft Limits" button enables visual display of the working area of the CNC machine table. By default, the display is turned on in three axes (X, Y, Z). It happens only after the homing for the configured axes.

Attention!

You must definitely configure the axes to display the soft limits of the axes. Read how to do this in "Axes Setup".

The separate on/off function of the soft limits allows you to manually enable or disable the display of limits for each of the configured (used) axes. This also changes the display on the visualization. To do this, special buttons have been added to the program interface. The buttons appear after turning on the display of the limits of the axes and hide when it is turned off.

Separate inclusion of axis soft limits allows, for example, to perform a homing and include limits only on the Z axis. Thus, movements along the Z axis will be limited by machine coordinates specified in the limits settings. It helps prevent collisions in the vertical direction. In this case, movements along the X and Y axes are not limited by software and are controlled by the operator.
