Plasma cutting module

PUMOTIX Plasma Cutting module is designed for overall control of CNC plasma metal cutting machine portal working process. Functions of the module:

• Plasma metal cutting process control, monitoring and diagnostics (visual control);
• monitoring of the cutting process on a display, scaling cutting cards;
• manual metal cutting mode (manual control of the cutter movements with active torch);
• automatic plasma height control by measuring the voltage in the arc of the plasma torch;
• probing before arc ignition;
• start of the program from any point of the contour with automatic arc ignition;
• quick ignition without punching delay in the case of a program execution from the middle of the frame;
• adjusting the cutting parameters in the PUMOTIX program interface, before starting and during the cutting process;
• cutting parameters presets can be created, edited, applied or deleted with Preset Library;
• configuration of parameters for a specific metal and operating current;
• monitoring of the CNC machine state and the control signals in diagnostics mode.

PUMOTIX supports the following torch height controllers:

• PLCM-T1/PLCM-T2;
• THC1;
• any controllers with Up/Down interface.

The external PLCM and THC controllers are connected to the control computer with an Ethernet cable via a network switch.
