Switching to PUMOTIX from other CNC systems

Below are the options for switching the PLCM controller to PUMOTIX, depending on the latest controller status. We recommend that you read the documents before reading:

  • PLCM has never been used before with PureMotion

The first time you connect the controller to PUMOTIX, a perpetual basic license is automatically activated, including only a set of basic free options. All other options will be in the "Not activated" state. Each option has its own trial period in machine hours to assess its advantages and the need for further acquisition.

  • PLCM was used with the time limited PureMotion STANDARD

When the controller is connected to PUMOTIX, a time-limited basic license + a set of those options that were previously available in PureMotion STANDARD are automatically activated. The validity period of the PUMOTIX license will exactly match the validity period of the PureMotion license. For inactive options, a trial period will be available.

  • PLCM used with perpetual PureMotion STANDARD

When the controller is connected to PUMOTIX, a perpetual basic license + a set of options that were previously available in PureMotion STANDARD is automatically activated. All enabled options will be unlimited. For inactive options, a trial period will be available.

  • PLCM was used with the time limited PureMotion PROFESSIONAL

When the controller is connected to PUMOTIX, a time-limited basic license + all options that were previously available in PureMotion PROFESSIONAL are automatically activated. The total validity period of the PUMOTIX license will exactly match the validity period of the PureMotion license.

  • PLCM was used with unlimited PureMotion PROFESSIONAL

When the controller is connected to PUMOTIX, a perpetual basic license + all the options that were previously available in PureMotion PROFESSIONAL are automatically activated. All options will be unlimited.
