System requirements

Minimum:

• OS Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3;
• 1 core processor (Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon XP) with 2 GHz or greater or 2 core processor with 1.6 GHz or greater;
• 1 Gb RAM;
• HDD with 1 GB free disk space;
• OpenGL 2.1-enabled video adapter and monitor with a minimum display resolution of 1280×800 pixels (1024×768 pixels for Milling 4-axis module);
• installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0;
• DirectX 9.0c or greater;
• Ethernet network adapter;
• network switch or router for connecting additional Ethernet devices such as the THC plasma torch height controller or the PLCM-R1 console.

Recommended:

• OS Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 (x64);
• processor Intel Core i3 / AMD FX with 2 GHz or greater;
• 4 Gb RAM;
• SSD with 5 GB free disk space;
• OpenGL 4.5-enabled video adapter and monitor with a display resolution of 1920×1080 pixels;
• installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0;
• DirectX 9.0c or greater;
• Ethernet network adapter;
• network switch or router for connecting additional Ethernet devices such as the THC plasma torch height controller or the PLCM-R1 console.

The above are the recommended hardware and software requirements for your computer. Theoretically, the PUMOTIX software can run on a PC with lower specifications, but we do not recommend doing this in order to avoid inconvenience when using the program.

If you are using a monitor with a resolution lower than 1280x800 pixels some GUI elements may not be available or readable. Please observe the minimum screen resolution requirements of your monitor.

If the machine is supposed to use NC programs with a large number of lines (hundreds of thousands or millions of frames) the requirements for the hardware may be higher. You can always try out our software in demo mode on NC files of various sizes using the Simulator. This will help you to see how the system performs and determine if your computer matches this software.
