G17 - G19.1: Selection of the Work Plane

These commands set the current plane of interpolation, as follows:
- G17 – XY (default);
- G18 – ZX;
- G19 – YZ;
- G17.1 – UV;
- G18.1 – WU;
- G19.1 – VW.
UV, WU, and VW planes do not support arcs.
It is recommended that you include the interpolation plane selection command at the beginning of each G-code file.
